RE: deploying side awning
I'm not sure I'm understanding the type of awning. Do you have the long steel wire to manipulate the awning and pull the strap?. i have the one that has release latches on the lower ridge that if unlatched gives the vertical support legs flexibility to move , there is no wire or strap . I’m too short to reach it .

A ladder is too big for me to stow and a bucket isn’t tall enough , so i’ll just do without the side awning unless some type of ladder becomes available on the road. Thanks for the responses .

deploying side awning
Hi, my wife and I were setting up in our new to us camper and we couldn’t reach the leg mechanisms so we had to stand on a picnic table to reach and set it up . Does everyone out there have this problem? It would seem to me a step ladder would come in real handy but i’ll just do without.. Thanks

Dometic Refrigerator not working as it should
My Frige gave me problems on the road, I set it to Auto when on shore power and it wouldn’t work , then i’d switch it to LP and sometimes it would work. Now I’m home and everything works perfectly . What the heck am i doing wrong?

With the same issue, I picked up my HappiJac 4200 Motörhead from electric motor repair shop and for 150.00 problem solved all for 150.00! Now all the jacks are working!
The most amazing thing in this statement is that you were able to find an "electric motor repair shop" in this day and age!! Glad you were successful.. Thanks , the shop mainly rebuilds starters and alternators , and camper jacks.

One of my three year old Happijac motors (old style) has died. Right now, replacements are not available. Here's what I got from Lippert this morning:
Good afternoon,
The motors will be available again at the end of June, the PN is 2022003046, and they are $220.95 each.
If you would like to order one, you can do that at any time via email or over the phone, but it will not ship until the end of June when these are back in stock.

Since Happijac does not manufacture the 4200 model that I have , and the Motörhead replacement won’t be available til the end of June, I bought the Motörhead to an electric motor repair shop and hoping for the best !
